Guided loving kindness meditation
Imagine yourself standing at the threshold of a new year. Behind you lies the fertile ground of the past year, its experiences woven into the rich soil of your being. Before you stretches a vast meadow, bathed in the golden light of a rising sun. This is the field of possibilities, where your intentions will bloom into reality.
As you step into the meadow, feel the dew-kissed grass beneath your bare feet. The cool air kisses your cheeks, carrying the whispers of hope and renewal. Take a moment to breathe in the scent of blooming possibilities, feeling the anticipation dance in your heart.
Now reflect on the fact that there are limitless sentient beings through your countless universe and that each one wants happiness.
Repeat: May all the sentient beings have happiness and the causes of happiness.
Now, focus on your heart center. Imagine it radiating a warm, golden light, like a sun within you. This light is your love, your kindness, your unwavering compassion. Feel it expand, filling your chest, your lungs, every cell of your being.
